Girl Power

Explore. Encourage. Empower.
An annual WomenSource workshop for middle school and high school girls and the women who love them. This special half-day, free workshop celebrates young women. The goals of the event are to help young women: Explore ways to better their self-esteem; Encourage them to lead a confident, healthy lifestyle; and Empower them to take charge of their future!

2017 THEME: #2Kind2BeMean

This year we will be focusing on bullying — How to spot it, how to deal with it and how to stop it. Let’s build our girls up so strong that no one can tear them down!

This FREE, half-day workshop includes general and break-out sessions, lunch & door prizes. Pre-registration is required.

When: 8:30 a.m. to 1p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017

Where: Brenau Downtown Center, Main Street, Downtown Gainesville

Cost: Free, but pre-registration is required. All girls must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. (*One adult can chaperone up to 10 girls.)
