Power Lunches are educational programs that allow women to gather and learn about various issues and trends important to them.
Lunch is served beginning at 11:45 a.m. with the program getting underway at Noon.
Your $6 admission includes our program plus lunch from Brenau Catering.
Speaker: Kristi Farner, Ph.D., University of Georgia
Topic: “TrueColors,” an interactive personality assessment program aimed to help you know how to operate from your strengths.
About the speaker:
Dr. Kristi Farner is a Program and Staff Development Specialist for Cooperative Extension. She has a Ph.D. in Adult Education from the University of Georgia. In her current role she support faculty and staff development from the individual and organizational levels including onboarding, mentoring and continuing education (internal trainings and graduate education). Her research areas include leadership, community engagement, and organizational development. Previous to this position she was an Assistant Director for Leadership Development for the UGA College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. In her free time she enjoys outdoor activities, attending sporting events and playing with her Bassett Hound named Earl.
About the program:
This interactive lunch will begin when the audience takes a quick, (2-3 minutes) free quiz on their smart phone to identify which preferences they may have. Dr. Farner will discuss the different personality types and how they are all important. The aim of the session will be to understand ourselves and others better so that we can build meaningful relationship in our lives.
