Power Lunch: Namaste — Creating lifelong changes using mindfulness

Join us Thursday, Dec. 7 for our next Power Lunch!

Power Lunches are educational programs that allow women to gather and learn about various issues and trends important to them.

Lunch is served beginning at 11:45 a.m. with the program getting underway at Noon.

Your $6 admission includes our program plus lunch from Brenau Catering.

Dec. 7 lunch speaker: Merri Benham, a 500-RYT yoga instructor with more than 17 years experience.

Topic: “How to create lifelong changes using the tool of mindfulness.”

Merri Benham started her yoga path 50 pounds overweight and suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Over the years yoga has served as a beacon for change and healing.

About the program:

What you will learn…

  • Ways to examine thoughts through meditation
  • Breath work to assist calming the stream of thoughts to obtain clarity and assist with decision-making.
  • Tapping into one’s nervous system response to destress anywhere.
