Lunch is served beginning at 11:45 a.m. with the program getting underway at Noon.

Speaker: Maria Zayas, Ph.D., Brenau University
Topic: “HeartMath,” a program that aims to give practical solutions for expanding heart connections, accelerating personal growth and transforming stress into greater energy, better health and a more fulfilling life.
About the speaker:
Dr. Zayas has been a practicing psychologist for over 25 years. Aside from maintaining a clinical practice, Dr. Zayas is a faculty member at Brenau University in Gainesville where she teaches and conducts research in the area of psychological health and well-being, stress and resilience, and relationship dynamics. Dr. Zayas is certified as a HeartMath clinical practitioner and is also a certified yoga teacher. Aside from her interest in the psychology of wellness, Dr. Zayas understands the importance of holistic health and of working from a place of balance of body, mind, heart and spirit.
