Power Breakfast with Dr. Bonita Jacobs

Join us for our September Power Breakfast!

WomenSource’s Power Breakfasts are regular events that allow women from all backgrounds to have casual conversations over a cup of coffee with leaders in our community, to hear their career story and learn more about how they achieved success.

We are excited to have education leader Bonita Jacobs, PhD, join us to share her story about her path to where she is today.

Jacobs is president of the University of North Georgia.

As always, you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the speaker.

Join us Tuesday, September 19, at Panera in Gainesville!

More about our speaker

Bonita Jacobs is president of the University of North Georgia, which was formed in January 2013 through the consolidation of Gainesville State College and North Georgia College & State University. She took office as the 17th president of North Georgia College & State University in July 2011. She was the University’s first woman president and is only the second to lead one of the country’s six Senior Military Colleges.

In 2014, Jacobs was named as one of the “100 Most Influential Georgians” by Georgia Trend magazine and as one of the “Top Education Leaders in Atlanta” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2013 and 2014.
